I now have in my possession one of the fastest personal computers as of today. That's right the G5 is in the hizouse. It's beautiful, i mean i could just sit an look at it for like hours and not get bored. I've got all my software, changed over all my itunes music and photos, so I'm ready to start taking names and kicking as.....butt. I'm trying to cuss less. Anyways, Let's see what's happening other than the G5. Well on the design front I've just been commisioned to do the Cd album layout for a quincy band called Death Amongst Strangers. All the artwork should already be provided so the project will be smaller then the Quincy Hybrids album. I've got the first round of potential names out to the Dentist to check out he responded saying he really likes four of them alot, and he'll get back to me soon with his final choice. I'll be glad to get the ball rolling on that, it should be smooth sailing once he's made up his mind on what he wants to call it. I'm began to embrace the whole apartment thing. April and I are checking out apartments online and soon we'll start making some calls checking on availability and utilities. The one we have our eyes on is a one bed-room...however it has a large study that could double as a second bedroom. More then likely, however, it'll be a computer/office area for myself. I'm gonna make every effort implement the design scheme myself, i'm thinking silver, black, and white. all colors that will complement my computers and most importantly the sacred G5. Been a while since my last entry, my birthday has come and gone, it was a good time,nothing fancy, got a nice watch from my girlfriend. She recently got a job at Hobby Lobby, which is either a really good thing because she loves that store, or a really bad thing, cause she likes that store....and now she gets a discount. Lots to report on the design front. Things have been relatively slow, but now it seems like things may be picking up in a big way. I believe another Album design project is comming by way, it won't be as intense as Quincy Hybrids, but it'll be alot different. I also may have a web design project in store for some Hunting outfitters. I'm also wanting to revamp my website a bit now that i have abit of flash under my belt. I'm heading to St. Louis tonight. Oh yeah and I've taken up pipe smoking, its enjoyable to me, and it smells better than cigars. Oh yeah, i'm getting a Mac G5 which is gonna be so freaking cool I can't wait for it to get here, i'm psyched. Other then that not a whole lot happening, Later.

Well I made it to and from California in one piece. I figured i'd be freaking out about the whole flying thing but to be honest I wasn't even nervous, i'd easily fly again if i need to. Sacramento was ok, there wasn't anything there that i really found overly mesmorizing, however, the two days in San Francisco were pretty good though for the most part. I got my feet wet in the ocean and rode across the golden gate bridge several times. I wasn't overly big on the whole Fisherman's wharf thing, it just kind of stank and was occupied by homeless people and souvenier stands, but hey whatever. For some reason i am mystified by Alcatraz, didn't actually tour it but for some reason I find that really captivating and interesting. In some regards the week out to CA seemed like a week, and in others it didn't. I definately have an appreciation for the midwest. California was ok but i sure wouldn't ever want to live there. Back on the homefront i'm diving back into all the miscellaneous projects I'm tied into. I'm still compiling ideas for the new look for the dentist. I don't have even a name idea yet so i'm really taking this bad boy from scratch. Oh well, it'll be a fun ride and look good in the portfolio as well. I'm also needing to compile a hardcopy portfolio, i hope to at least get in done on the computer by the end of the week. I plan on going in to the lab at school and get some plastic bindery thingies. That'll hopefully give my portfolio a professional, I Know what I'm doing look. My birthday is comming up quick, saturday I guess it will be. If April and my mom hadn't kept reminding me I don't know if i would have even noticed it was my birthday. I'm still playing the waiting game over all the resume brochures I sent out. I'm really nervous about the whole finding a job thing. I really don't want this to come down to the wire, hopefully something will fall into place soon. I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend in Quincy. I like that town, not too big not to small, fits like a glove. Well i'm off to do the whole class thing now, learning exciting things with Flash MX and some not so exciting but educational things with servers and other backroom issues with the internet. Chow.

Well it's the last day of school before spring break. Did my california packing and am almost ready to head to st. louis. On the design side I have a major project of redoing corporate identity work for a quincy dentist. I'm excited about the job and am researching different aspects of it. I'm also doing a number of side projects including web pages. Well things to do, next time I post i'll probably have wonderfull stories of california. Peace out.
